Candy From the Year You Were Born: Birth-Year Candy Finder
Type in the year you were born and see which candy bars, sodas, cereals and snacks first appeared that year, which ones arrived while you were growing up, and the classics that were already in the corner shop waiting for you.
Launch years are the first year each product went on sale, taken from our candy histories. Some brands launched in one country years before reaching another.
How it works
Snack History has the story behind more than 750 candies, snacks and drinks. This finder uses the launch year of 257 of them, from 1847 Necco Wafers to brand-new cereals. Pick a year and it lists what launched that year, everything that came out before you turned 12 (the candy you most likely remember from childhood), and the older favorites that were already on the shelves.
