Operations were expanded to South Korea in 1975, and today, this is one of the most well-known chocolate brands in Korea and Japan. The name of the Ghana chocolate bar is meant as a reference to Ghana, which is one of the world’s largest exporters of cocoa beans.

The brand is often confused with Ghana, the place, but in Korea, most people would know that you meant the chocolate bar if you brought up this name.
