Grams, ounces and pounds
Most candy made in the US is labelled in ounces, while most candy from the UK, Europe, Latin America and Asia is labelled in grams. One ounce is 28.35 grams, one pound is 16 ounces (453.6 grams), and one kilogram is about 2.2 pounds. In the UK, older readers may still think in stone: one stone is 14 pounds, or 6.35 kilograms.
