The original source of pistachios is Iran, but they’re already in high demand all over the globe, including in North America, Southern Europe, and the Middle East. Even in the UAE, where importing pistachios isn’t the biggest problem, these nuts are considered somewhat luxurious, which in turn makes the chocolate more expensive. 

It also needs to be noted that the companies that produce the Dubai chocolate try their best to deliver a product using high-quality ingredients, which also affects the price.
